Welcome to the Murrumbateman Lions Club in NSW in Australia
The Murrumbateman Lions Club focuses on serving the local community as well as providing assistance and support to Lions Club initiated projects.
Along with our regular donations and support to the local community events and individual residents of Murrumbateman the Club also had a few large ongoing projects.
The Murrumbateman Lions Club was instrumental in establishing the local park (Jones Park) with the support of Yass Valley Council. Through many volunteer hours over a number of years the members have built the ANZAC memorial garden and laid commemorative headstones, planted rose gardens, built a bridge over the creek and created picnic seating for visitors to the area. The Club has continued to ensure regular maintenance of the park.
The Murrumbateman Lions Club is also involved in the enhancement of the Murrumbateman Bush Cemetery. In recent years the Club has created a bush garden, laid a concrete sleeper walkway, built a columbarium and built the bush fence.
Our members are dedicated to making our community a better place to live, work and grow.
